The Mission

Mission Possible (2011)

We are here to reach out to  communities locally and around the world through Jesus Christ. We are here to help the homeless, children and families through prayer, supplying them with food, resources and spiritual guidance. So many people around the world are faced with poverty and sickness and we as leaders and believers in Jesus Christ must reach out to them (Proverbs 14:21). A dream was given to evangelist Alex Smith that there would be a storehouse where those in need can be blessed with food; in his dream there was enough food to feed hundreds of people in this particular storehouse. In his dream the storehouse must of ran out of room because people were eating on plates outside on the sidewalk which means there was an overflow of food.

Alex believes that this dream was given to him by Jesus Christ to show him that there is a need that must be met, a mission that is possible. Alex and his wife Erica Smith knows that God called them to reach the poor and communities like in Alex’s dream. Alex  and Erica is praying for true storehouses to be built and placed all around the world where people can get fed physically and spiritually. Alex and Erica knows that God is raising up storehouses to help people in need; they believe that there are storehouses like in Alex’s vision reaching the people right now.

Mission Possible is not a traditional church or organization that is driven by money, sectarianism, the number of people in a building, or what someone looks like. Mission Possible is a ministry who are called and passionate about reaching the lost sheep, the people who are lost in darkness, and our mission is to show them the true power of God’s love and light through prayer and support. We focus on the spiritual matters of the soul, mind and heart; we worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24)

We don’t believe in pushing or forcing people to believe that Jesus Christ is real but by teaching them the gospel by His Holy Spirit!  That if they confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord (Romans 10:8-9) they will be saved and will be able to enter the kingdom of Heaven. This beautiful and unconditional love of Jesus Christ must be experienced for you to really understand, by calling on His wonderful name…

It is time to go beyond the church building walls and go to the streets, the communities, the poor; the youth, widowers, and the fatherless with true love and compassion as we meet their need. God desires us to give generously to those in need without a grudging heart (Deuteronomy 15:10-11); we as leaders, and believers must put away selfishness and remember that we all came from hard times in our lives, and that if it wasn’t for Jesus Christ that got us out of that struggle we would still be in that dark situation. It takes a team of people to build a bridge, so let’s all work on it together.

God’s mission is possible! When we come into Christ our lives are changed, His love fills the hearts of those who believe in Him. Just as the sun that shines so gracefully upon the golden seas, His Holy Spirit and love will shine in you and upon you. Praying, fasting and helping someone will not be just something to do to buy time, but you are moved by passion and a spiritual desire to pray, fast and reach out to someone to meet their need when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord. Mission Possible is that ministry who desires with deep passion to feed, reach, teach and equip the communities in Christ Jesus, and to break down strongholds that tries to destroy the minds and hearts of people. God’s mission is possible!

Word from the Lord:

Proverbs 14:31 – “He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.”

Proverbs 19:17 – “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done.”

Isaiah 61: 1 – “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.”

Matthew 5:3 – “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 6:3-4 – “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
